Procedure

Once you are relaxed and ready, Dr. Murariu will begin your procedure.

He will place each incision in a discreet location near the treatment area before injecting a tumescent fluid. This fluid blends lidocaine, epinephrine, and saline to numb the treatment area further, minimize bleeding, and firm the fat cells for easier removal. (2) Dr. Murariu will then insert a thin probe into the treatment area. He will use this probe to carefully emulsify and aspirate the fat from your body, revealing the natural definition, sculpt, and contours of your muscles. After performing each of your desired corrections, Dr. Murariu will carefully close your incisions and allow you to rest.

Recovery

Dr. Murariu performs hi-def liposuction on an outpatient basis, which means that he will release you home on the same day of your procedure. During your initial recovery, you can expect to experience some swelling, bruising, or tenderness. These effects are temporary and will subside on their own with time, but you may also manage them using pain medications Dr. Murariu prescribes and plenty of rest.
